๐ Rugby Returned
September saw the return of rugby across all levels. It was great to see all teams from u6s to seniors returning to action. Well done to all parents, coaches, players and club volunteers involved across all teams.
September saw the senior squad back in competitive action. We opened with a 20โ15 win over Thomond in the first round of the Munster Senior Cup, before bowing out a week later to a strong Shannon side at Towns Park (0โ24). From there, all focus turned to the AIL, where we kicked off our campaign at home to Bruff with a great performance and a 40โ25 victory. You can read the full match report now on ClubZap.
All other teams across the club are back in action too โ keep an eye on social media each week for fixtures and results.

Fundraising & Community
A huge thank you to everyone who supported our various fundraisers this month:
โค๏ธ Stand 4 Fรฉile Gate Collection at the Thomond match โ raised โฌ500.
๐ Tom & Mags Charity Hike โ over โฌ7000 raised for MND and still accepting donations for another few weeks.
๐ Autumn Series Raffle โ Draw took place after the Bruff game with 11 prizes given out, congratulations to the winners!
๐ชฃ Weekly Split the Bucket โ โฌ2 per entry, guaranteed winner every Thursday. It remains one of the best ways to support the club for just โฌ2 a week. Enter online at MRFC Split the Bucket, or on ClubZap.
๐ฐ U16s Bake Sale at the Bruff game โ a brilliant effort from our youths team.
๐ฏ Annual Ecumenical Service โ a lovely evening in the clubhouse to kick off the season by remembering those who are no longer with us, thanks to the organisers.
๐ซ Looking ahead, weโll be taking part in the IRFUโs โYour Club, Your Countryโ draw, which helps raise much-needed funds for the club. Full details and ticket info in ClubZap.
